ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအတြင္းျဖစ္ေပၚေနသည့္ ဖံြ႕ ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္မႈျဖစ္စဥ္ႏွင့္ အေျပာင္းအလဲေတြကို မည္သို႔ နားလည္သေဘာ ေပါက္ႏိုင္မည္နည္း? ထိုအေၾကာင္းအရာမ်ားတြင္ လြန္စြာေျပာင္းလဲေနသည့္ ႏိုင္ငံေရး၊ စီးပြားေရး က႑မ်ား အျပင္ ေထာက္ပံ့မႈမ်ား၊ ရင္းႏွီးျမွဳပ္ႏွံမ်ားမွတဆင့္ ႏုိင္ငံတကာႏွင့္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ေနသည့္ ဆက္စပ္မႈမ်ား ပါ၀င္ ပါသည္။
မဲလ္ဘုန္းတကၠသို္လ္ႏွင့္ ပူးေပါင္း၍ အစီအစဥ္သစ္အေနျဖင့္ PK ဖိုရမ္မွ ၂၀၁၈-၂၀၁၉ ႏွစ္တြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ဖြံ႕ ၿဖိဳးတိုးတက္မႈဆိုင္ရာအျပင္ အျခားျဖစ္ေပၚေနေသာ အေျပာင္းအလဲမ်ားႏွင့္ဆက္စပ္သည့္ ေမးခြန္းမ်ားအေပၚ အျပန္အလွန္ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္း၊ အျပဳသေဘာေဆာင္စြာ ျငင္းခံုႏိုင္ဖို႔ ရည္ရြယ္ပါသည္။
ယခင္အတိုင္း “အကူအညီအေထာက္အပံ့ႏွင့္ ေဒသတြင္းပံုေဖာ္မႈ”၊ “ကြ်ႏ္ုပ္၏စာတမ္းမွ သင္ခန္းစာ ၅ခု” ႏွင့္ “အလုပ္ထြက္အင္တာဗ်ဴး” စသည့္ ေဆာင္းပါးတိုမ်ားကိုလည္း ျပန္လည္ေဖာ္ျပသြားမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။ ထို႔အျပင္ PK ဖိုရမ္မွ ေခါင္းစဥ္အသစ္မ်ားျဖစ္ေသာ ဖယ္ဒရယ္၊ ကုန္သြယ္ေရးသေဘာညီခ်က္စာခ်ဳပ္မ်ား၊ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ဖြံ႔ၿဖိဳးေရးအတြက္ တရုတ္ႏိုင္ငံ၏ အခန္းက႑ စသည္တို႔ကို ေလ့လာၿပီး ေဆြးေႏြးသြားမည္ျဖစ္ပါသည္။
PK ဖိုရမ္မွလည္း အၾကံျပဳခ်က္မ်ား၊ ေဆြးေႏြးခ်က္မ်ားကို အထူးနားေထာင္ခ်င္ပါသည္။ PK ဖိုရမ္၏ သုေတသန အယ္ဒီတာအသစ္ျဖစ္ေသာ ဒြဲရာသည္ ရန္ကုန္အေျခစိုက္ျဖစ္ၿပီး ဖိုရမ္ညိွႏိႈင္းေရးမွဴးျဖစ္သည့္ Tamas Wells ႏွင့္ ဖိုရမ္၏ ပဲ့ကိုင္ေကာ္မတီသည္ ၾသစေတးလ်ႏိုင္ငံ မဲလ္ဘုန္းတကၠသိုလ္တြင္ အေျခစိုက္ပါသည္။
PK ဖိုရမ္သို႔ ျမန္မာဘာသာႏွင့္ျဖစ္ေစ၊ အဂၤလိပ္ဘာသာႏွင့္ျဖစ္ေစ ေဆာင္းပါးပို႕လိုပါက သို႔မဟုတ္ မည္သည့္ေခါင္းစဥ္မ်ိဳးကို ထည့္သြင္းသင့္သည္ စသျဖင့္ အၾကံေပးလိုပါက pkdiscussionforum@gmail.com သို႕ ေပးပို႕ ႏုိင္ပါသည္။ သို႔မဟုတ္ PK ဖိုရမ္ ၏ Facebook ပို႔စ္ေအာက္တြင္ ၀င္ေရာက္ေဆြးေႏြးေပးပါရန္ ဖိတ္ေခၚပါသည္။
ထို႔အျပင္ မဲလ္ဘုန္းတကၠသိုလ္ႏွင့္ ပူးေပါင္းသည့္အစီအစဥ္ေအာက္၌ပင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ဖြံ႔ၿဖိဳးေရးက႑အတြက္ သိရွိနားလည္ထားသင့္သည့္ အေၾကာင္းအရာမ်ားကို ေလ့လာေနက်ေသာ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံမွ သုေတသနပညာရွင္ မ်ားႏွင့္ ႏုိင္ငံတကာမွ သုေတသနပညာရွင္မ်ားကို ပိုခ်ိတ္ဆက္ေပးႏိုင္ရန္ရည္ရြယ္ပါသည္။
PK ဖိုရမ္အေနျဖင့္ ပညာရွင္မ်ားႏွင့္ လက္ေတြ႕အေကာင္အထည္ေဖာ္ေနသူမ်ားၾကား တံတားသဖြယ္ ကူးလူး ဆက္သြယ္ေပးႏုိင္ရန္ ရည္ရြယ္သည္။ သတင္းအခ်က္အလက္မ်ားအား လမ္းေၾကာင္းမ်ိဳးစံုမွ အျပန္အလွန္ဖလွယ္ ေနျခင္းအားျဖင့္ အလြန္အဖိုးတန္ေသာ အေတြးအေခၚေကာင္းမ်ား ထြက္ေပၚလာမည္ဟု ယံုၾကည္ပါသည္။
ယခုအစီအစဥ္အသစ္အတြက္ အလြန္စိတ္လႈပ္ရွားေနၿပီး အားလုံုးပါ၀င္ေပးဖို႕လည္း ေမ ွ်ာ္လင့္ပါသည္။

How do we make sense of development and change in Myanmar? From dramatic shifts in politics and the economy, to new international engagement through aid and investment.
With a new partnership with the University of Melbourne, the PK Forum is expanding in 2018-19 and aims to energise debate and discussion around questions of development and change in Myanmar.
We will be continuing with familiar themes of localisation and aid, and series such as Five Lessons from my Thesis and the Exit Interview. We will also be exploring new themes such as federalism, trade agreements and the role of China in Myanmar’s development.
Most of all we are interested in input from you. Our new research editor Doi Ra is based in Yangon, and Forum coordinator Tamas Wells, and a steering group, are based at the University of Melbourne in Australia.
