၂၀၁၆ ခုႏွစ္အတြင္း PK Forum ကို အားေပးမႈအတြက္ အထူးပင္ေက်းဇူးတင္ရွိပါတယ္။
ဒီ ဖိုရမ္ ကို ျပဳလုပ္ရတဲ့ အေၾကာင္းကေတာ့ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံအတြင္းရွိ ကူညီေထာက္ပံ့မႈႏွင့္ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးမႈဆိုင္ရာ သေဘာထား ယူဆခ်က္မ်ားကို မွ်ေ၀ျခင္းႏွင့္ ေ၀ဖန္ေဆြးေႏြးျခင္းအားျဖင့္ ဆန္းသစ္ေသာ အသိအျမင္မ်ားဆီ ေခၚေဆာင္သြားႏိုင္မယ္လို႕ ကၽြႏု္ပ္တို႕ ယုံၾကည္ပါတယ္။ ဒါ့အျပင္ ကၽြႏ္ုပ္တို႕ လုပ္ငန္းေဆာင္ရြက္သည့္ပုံစံ ကိုလည္း ေျပာင္းလဲႏိုင္မည္ဟု ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ပါတယ္။
ဒါေၾကာင့္ သင့္ရဲ႕ပူးေပါင္းပါ၀င္မႈႏွင့္ အၾကံဥာဏ္မ်ားဟာ ဖိုရမ္ ေအာင္ျမင္ေစရန္အတြက္ အေရးပါတဲ့ အစိတ္အပိုင္းတစ္ရပ္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
အမွန္တကယ္ စိတ္လႈပ္ရွားဖြယ္ေကာင္းေသာ ႏွစ္တစ္ႏွစ္ျဖစ္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ PK Forum ဟာ ၂၀၁၆ ခုႏွစ္အတြင္း ၄၀၀ ရာခိုင္ႏႈန္းေက်ာ္ ႀကီးထြားလာခဲ့ၿပီး ယခုဆိုလွ်င္ျဖင့္ လစဥ္ လူဦးေရ ၂၅၀,၀၀၀ ထိ ေရာက္ရွိလာခဲ့ပါၿပီ။
ဒီပမာဏမွာ အမ်ားစုဟာ Facebook မွတဆင့္ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဆိုလိုတာကေတာ့ လူတိုင္းဟာ အေၾကာင္းအရာအျပည့္အစုံကို အမွန္တကယ္ မဖတ္ႏိုင္ဘူးဆိုတာပါဘဲ။ ဒါေပမယ့္ လစဥ္ အနည္းဆုံး လူ ၂၀,၀၀၀ ခန္႕ဟာ ေဆာင္းပါးမ်ားႏွင့္ စိတ္၀င္တစား ထိေတြ႕ေနတယ္လို႕ ကၽြႏု္ပ္တို႕ ခန္႕မွန္းရပါတယ္။
၂၀၁၆ ခုႏွစ္အတြင္း www.pkforum.org အမည္ရွိ website တစ္ခုကိုလည္း လႊင့္တင္ႏိုင္ခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ၄င္းတြင္ PK Forum အေၾကာင္းအရာမ်ားကို က႑အလိုက္ ထားရွိၿပီး ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရွိ လူမႈအဖြဲ႕အစည္းႏွင့္ ဖြံ႕ၿဖိဳးမႈတြင္ စိတ္၀င္စားသူမ်ားအတြက္ ေလ့လာစရာမ်ားလည္း ေဖာ္ျပေပးထားပါတယ္။ အကယ္၍ အေၾကာင္းအရာမ်ားႏွင့္ ပတ္သက္ၿပီး သင့္မွာအၾကံဥာဏ္ေတြရွိပါကလည္း ကၽြႏု္ပ္တို႕ကို အသိေပးႏိုင္ပါတယ္။

Forum ကို အားေပးမႈအေပၚ ေက်းဇူးတင္ေၾကာင္း ထပ္ေလာင္းေျပာခ်င္ပါတယ္။
ေပါင္းကူးႏွင့္ Norwegian People’s Aid တို႕ကိုလည္း ၂၀၁၆ ခုႏွစ္အတြင္း ကူညီေထာက္ပံ့ေပးမႈမ်ားအတြက္ ေက်းဇူးတင္ရွိပါတယ္။ ရလာဒ္အေနျဖင့္ ၿပီးခဲ့တဲ့ႏွစ္အတြင္း ၿငိမ္းခ်မ္းေရးလုပ္ငန္းစဥ္မ်ားႏွင့္ NCDDP တြင္ အလွဴရွင္၏ တာ၀န္ယူ၊တာ၀န္ခံမႈ ကဲ့သို႕ေသာ က႑မ်ားအေပၚ ေနာက္ေၾကာင္းအေျခခံ ေလ့လာမႈမ်ား ပိုမိုျပဳလုပ္ရန္ အခြင့္အေရးရခဲ့ပါတယ္။

We run this Forum because we believe that sharing and debating ideas about aid and development in Myanmar can lead us all to new understandings – and hopefully change in the way we work.
So your inputs are a crucial part of making this a success.
It has been an exciting year. The PK Forum has grown by over 400 percent in 2016 and now reaches a quarter of a million people every month.
Most of this reach is through Facebook of course, which means that not everyone actually reads all the content. But we estimate that every month at least 20,000 actively engage with the articles.
In 2016 we put together a website www.pkforum.org which has all of the PK Forum content on different topics and also resources for people interested in civil society and development in Myanmar. Let us know if you have more ideas for content.
In response to our readers, we have also substantially increased our Burmese language content. Burmese language is now clearly the most popular medium but we feel that it is important to continue with the English content as well to include foreigners in discussions.

The below photograph and fact about humanitarian aid and the Charter for Change was the most popular post of the year.
Our Exit Interview series – where we talked anonymously to aid workers who have left their jobs – was also popular, along with Pyae Phyo Maung’s post on interview skills in monitoring and evaluation.
But it was our recent series on the World Bank and community driven development brought the most comments and discussion.

We also want to thank Paung Ku and Norwegian People’s Aid for their support in 2016, which has allowed us to do more background research this year on topics such as donor accountability in the peace process and the NCDDP.
